You can obtain a Handicap Index® by joining any SCGA golf club (public or private) in Southern California.  These groups are great places to make new friends, play more golf and have more fun!  Select "Pick a Club" above to find a group near you.   Alternatively, you can select an Associate Membership to remove any guesswork.  An Associate Membership auto-selects a club based on your zip code.

There are more that 1,200 public golf club communities in the SCGA that you can join!  A Golf Club is a group of golfers that organize fun golf events and/or competitions on a regular basis. They are a FANTASTIC way to upgrade your golf experience, make new friends and participate in friendly competitions. A Handicap Index® allows everyone to play together fairly, no matter their age, gender or skill level!  

Members receive a subscription to the SCGA’s FORE Magazine, an award-winning publication that captures the Southern California golf lifestyle providing members a unique look into all the region has to offer. This quarterly publication features courses, travel & human-interest stories and highlights the SCGA’s core services, including Rules & Handicapping, Public Affairs and the SCGA Junior Golf Foundation.
